🎃👻 HALLOWEEN TRAFFIC & GOLF CART SAFETY REMINDERS! 🚔🍬

Halloween is almost here, Fort Stockton! As families prepare for a fun night of trick-or-treating on Saturday, October 31, the Fort Stockton Police Department would like to remind everyone of a few important safety regulations.

🚨 GOLF CARTS & ROVs

🟠 All golf carts and ROVs are subject to City Ordinance regulations. Violations may result in citations and vehicle impoundment.

🟠 Golf carts and ROVs must be registered with Code Enforcement before operating on public roadways within city limits.

🟠 Operators must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.

🟠 Children under the age of 5 are not permitted to ride in or on these vehicles.

🚔 TRAFFIC LAWS STILL APPLY!

Officers will be enforcing all traffic laws, including:

🚫 Children riding in the beds of trucks or trailers

🚫 Speeding and reckless driving

🚫 Driving while intoxicated (DWI)

🎃 Let’s keep Halloween fun, not frightening!

With little ghosts, goblins, and superheroes out enjoying the evening, we ask all drivers to slow down, remain alert, and help keep our community safe.

🧡 A safe Halloween is a happy Halloween!
