Summer Reading is right around the corner at YOUR Library. Stop in for a copy of the full schedule of programming.

Registration is June 18th through June 24th. You must register to be eligible for The GRAND PRIZES. Age groups: Age 3 to 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade to 6th Grade, 7th Grade to 9th Grade, 10th Grade to 12th Grade, and Adults. Our summer reading program goals are 60 Kids and 30 Adults.

All are welcome to read, attend any of our 15 programs, earn "Library Bucks" for your reading endeavors, and shop in the "Library Store".

This year's theme is "Unearth A Story". With dinosaurs, archeology, genealogy, diggin' in the dirt, and READING!

The May Senior Movie is 5/22 at 1pm. We will be watching "Blended" with Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler.

Lauren (Barrymore) and Jim (Sandler) are two single parents just looking for love. In the wake of a blind date that turns disastrous, both agree that they're better off single. Just when Lauren and Jim thought they would never see each other again, however, their two families end up at the same African safari resort for spring break. Could it possibly be that their relationship is so crazy it just might work?

This Friday, 5/8 at 1p, Ms. Tori is hosting Kids Craft and Movie at YOUR Library, and kids of all ages including the young at heart are invited to come enjoy this program. Tori will read "Little One" by Jo Weaver, then it's an easy and fun craft creating these cute paint flowers just in time for Mothers Day. We are watching, "Mrs. Doubtfire" and enjoying a snack! Free to the public, and everyone is invited!

Ms. Tori is rocking the monthly Kids Craft & Movie. For April 17th at 1, Tori is reading "Piggies" by Audrey Wood. Watching "IF--Imaginary Friends" and making adorable window clings, which is sooo much fun for kids of all ages, like me. We'll have lots of patterns to choose from. Free and we'll offer a snack.

We are so excited to announce that Mr. Jon Birdsong, (our favorite watercolor instructor) is returning for a full-day watercolor paint party on Saturday, May 2nd. 9a-4p, with a Potluck Sandwich Spread for lunch.

This always fills up quickly and is so much fun. $40 for the day, cash or check to Mr. Birdsong. Due at time of registration. Call 575-355-2832 or stop in to sign up. Limited to 16 people.
