Summer is definitely here, and with temps near or at 100 degrees, we know that some folk's A/C may not keep up. Just a reminder that the "coolest place in town" (YOUR Library) is literally the COOLEST place in town. We keep it nice and cool in here. So if you need a place to just "chill" out, stop on in!

Did you know one of the best places to watch the parade is at YOUR Library? We'll have chairs available for anyone who wants to sit in the shade on the South side of the library in the shade of the tree available by 915am. For those who prefer to watch from their vehicle, park in our parking lot facing your vehicle towards either the north or the south. We look forward to seeing you!

Check out the grand prizes for each age group for the Summer Reading Program this year!

Kids age group 4 to 2nd grade, a kids tablet. Pre-set with parental settings in a built in case and geared for kids. 3rd grade to 6th grade, check out the sweet tablet in the middle. And for the two oldest kids age groups; 7th to 9th grade and 10th to 12th grade, get the tablet on the right, which comes with a keyboard, mouse, and stylus.

And for the adults, back by popular demand the amazing Char Broil Electric Grill, Griddle, and Charcoal Grill. This thing is a game changer. Stop in and see it in person. A $275 value.

Registration must be done in person, between June 18th and 24th at YOUR library! Books read prior to the 18th DO NOT count for the reading program!

Summer Reading is right around the corner at YOUR Library. Stop in for a copy of the full schedule of programming.

Registration is June 18th through June 24th. You must register to be eligible for The GRAND PRIZES. Age groups: Age 3 to 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade to 6th Grade, 7th Grade to 9th Grade, 10th Grade to 12th Grade, and Adults. Our summer reading program goals are 60 Kids and 30 Adults.

All are welcome to read, attend any of our 15 programs, earn "Library Bucks" for your reading endeavors, and shop in the "Library Store".

This year's theme is "Unearth A Story". With dinosaurs, archeology, genealogy, diggin' in the dirt, and READING!
