Chaplain McKee’s Word of the Day: Exigent - a formal word that describes things that need to be dealt with immediately, as well as people who expect significant time, attention, effort, etc. from other people. The key to dealing with the “exigent” in your life comes down to two things, good boundaries and strict priorities.

Chaplain McKee’s Word of the Day: mollycoddle treating something or someone with an excessive or absurd degree of indulgence or attention. Coddling someone is about control, either their control over you or your control over them.

Chaplain McKee’s Word of the Day: Acronym - a word formed from the first letter or letters of each one of the words in a phrase. Sometimes words such as, “the” or “and” are omitted to help with confusion. The Army uses acronyms as a way to communicate around civilians in an effort to look cool or to cause confusion for comedic effect.

Chaplain McKee’s Word of the Day: circumvent - to get around something in a clever and sometimes dishonest way, or, if it's a rule or law, to avoid being stopped by it. Innovation is a fundamental key to success and progress. At times you need to circumvent an obstacle but in doing so what are the risks? Is the obstacle put in place to keep you and others safe? Is the obstacle really an obstacle?
