Additionally, it gives single Soldiers the opportunity to participate in and contribute to their respective communities through community service. program was establis

hed in 1989 to respond to the recreational needs of single Soldiers. As the program was implemented throughout the Army, it became evident that quality of life was the primary concern of single Soldiers. In 1991 the Chief of Staff of the Army officially expanded B.O.S.S. to include all aspects of Soldiers lives. This expansion added participation in community service projects. Recreation, quality of life, and community service are the core components or better known as "The Three Pillars" of the B.O.S.S. program.

Heads up! SADD will be taking a brief pause these coming weekends. With a major division-wide training event on the calendar, we’re standing down so our team of volunteers can fully invest in the training and come back even stronger.

Normal operations will resume after the event — we’ll keep you posted.
Remember: no mission is worth a DUI. Plan your ride before you go out. Look out for your battle buddies and make smart choices this weekend.
