✈️ Operation D.E.M.O. Welcome Home Event! ✈️

We are so excited to celebrate our deployed-affected families with a morning packed full of fun, community, and appreciation! This is one of our 5-part Mock Deployment Series for military kids. Join us as we welcome you home and honor the incredible resilience of our military families.

📅 When: Saturday, June 27 | 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
📍 Where: 936 Tully St, Bldg 90229

Here is a look at what we have lined up for the day:

🛸 Explore a Real Aircraft: Step inside an AC-130J static display for the kids to explore!
🏰 Energy Burner: Conquer the Bounce House Obstacle Course.
🎯 Fun & Games: Plenty of family-friendly games throughout the hangar.
🤝 Community Support: Connect at our Community Partner Info Tables & activities.
🍿 Snacks & Drinks: Delicious refreshments provided by our amazing friends at the USO!
🏅 Children’s Medal Ceremony: A special moment to recognize our mini heroes for their strength during deployment.

🎒👕 BACK-TO-SCHOOL COMMUNITY CLOTHING DRIVE 👟🧥

The Hurlburt Field Youth Center's Keystone Club and Torch Club are proud to host a Back-to-School Community Clothing Drive to help local families prepare for the upcoming school year!

We're collecting:
✅ Gently used children's clothing
✅ Teen clothing
✅ Adult clothing
✅ Shoes
✅ Jackets & hoodies
✅ Hangers (all sizes needed!)

📍 Donation Drop-Off Location:
Hurlburt Youth Center

📅 Donation Collection Dates:
June 8, 2026 – July 17, 2026

⏰ Drop-Off Times:
6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

This youth-led community service project teaches our members the importance of giving back while helping alleviate the financial burden many families face during the back-to-school season.

🛍️ FREE COMMUNITY SHOPPING EVENT

Families are invited to come shop the racks and take what they need—completely FREE!

💙 Any remaining clothing will be donated to Hope House Youth Shelter in Crestview to continue supporting youth and families in need.

We are excited to offer a **2-Day American Red Cross Babysitting & First Aid Course** for youth ages **11–16 years old**. Sponsered by The Spouses Club

**Course Dates:**

* Tuesday, June 23
* Thursday, June 25
* Time: **8:00 AM – 12:00 PM**

This hands-on training is designed to help young people develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to become responsible babysitters while learning important safety and emergency response techniques.

**Course Topics Include:**

* First Aid
* CPR
* AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Training
* Basic Care for Infants and Children
* Child Behavior Management
* Planning Age-Appropriate Activities
* Emergency Response Procedures
* Feeding and Diapering
* Safe Pick-Up and Drop-Off Procedures

Upon successful completion of both training days, participants will receive an **American Red Cross Babysitting & First Aid Certification Card**.

This course is an excellent opportunity for youth who are interested in babysitting, caring for younger children, building leadership skills, and learning lifesaving techniques.

Space may be limited, so please register early if your child is interested in attending.
