One last hoorah before summer wraps up! Join us for our End of Summer Foam Party on Saturday, July 25, from 10 a.m.–12 p.m at Ferry Park! 🎉

Beachside Bubbles is bringing the foam cannons, music, and tons of bubbly fun! Be ready to get soaked, wear your sunscreen, and bring your friends for an unforgettable morning of celebrating an amazing Summer Reading season. 🫧🌊

Cats... in the library... yes, it's real. 😸📚 And yes, the cats are real too!

Join us this Saturday for one of everyone's favorite events... Cat Café at the Library! This time, we're giving it a special Summer Reading twist.

Meet local authors as they share the story of the first cat in America, enjoy some fascinating feline history, and, of course, spend time snuggling some adorable, adoptable cats.

Books, cats, history, and Summer Reading fun? We can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday! 🐾

Join us for our July Coffee with City Manager Jason Davis at the Fort Walton Beach Public Library from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026.

This is a chance to share your thoughts and ideas about the city with City Manager Jason Davis in an informal setting. No registration is necessary. Bring your questions, grab some coffee, meet the City Manager, and discuss the topics that matter most to you.

Can’t make it this Thursday? Don’t worry: Coffee with the City Manager is a recurring event scheduled on the first Thursday morning of each month* and held in the conference room of the Fort Walton Beach Public Library, located at 185 Miracle Strip Pkwy SE.

We’ll have coffee provided courtesy of the Floridaplacefoodtrucks and some tasty treats!
