The mission of Shoshone Utilities Organization is to provide safe and reliable drinking water to the residents of the Fort Washakie and Boulder Flats areas. SUO strives to achieve this goal by the most efficient an

d cost effective means available. SUO treats surface water from the South Fork of the little Wind River and several ground water wells to meet water quality standards established by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). SUO also manages domestic and commercial wastewater under the guidelines of the EPA. SUO is dedicated to providing propane and propane service to the residents of the Wind River Reservation at affordable rates and in a timely manner. SUO operates the public drinking water treatment and distribution and sewage collection systems along with potable water delivery to rural cisterns and a bulk propane business.

SHUT OFF NOTICES were mailed out last week, if you have received one Please come to the office to set up a payment agreement, or to renew it.
Customers need to do so before May 26th or your service will be shut off and a reconnect fee will be applied.
