Mainstay Music Therapy provides music therapy services to the Greater Fort Wayne Indiana area. Music Therapy services are funded through private insurance, Medicaid Waiver, and the ESA program. Music Therapy is a qualified health care profession used to help meet communication, social, emotional, motor and affective needs of people of all abilities and skill levels. Music therapists must complete

a 4 year Bachelors Degree in Music Therapy, complete a 6 month internship, and be Board Certified (MT-BC). Music Therapists are also required to maintain continuing education credits to be recertified every 5 years. We are looking for a passionate board-certified music therapist to join our team for an August/September start. This full-time position focuses on supporting individuals through hospice care alongside our ID/DD caseload.

At Mainstay, we build everything on a foundation of connection first. We know that to provide high-quality, client-led therapy, our team needs room to breathe, create, and rest. This role is partially clinic-based and designed with a sustainable schedule.
