We've officially made it through our first 3 days of school to our first weekend of the school year. As we settle in at home, you may find yourself being told to look in Gradebook, respond to a message in ParentSquare, or even buy tickets on EventLink. These programs may be new to you, and we created some events to help our families learn to navigate them. Our Family Tech Support Nights will be happening this month, starting on Monday and are designed for families to drop in and get their technology questions answered. Thank you to all who came to Portage Back to School Night. It was the best turnout we have ever had for an event. Over 2/3 of our families came out tonight and WE LOVE IT! We are so excited for an incredible school year. Great things are happening at Portage and we are glad you're a part of it!

We hope you’re all having a great summer. When August rolls around, you’ll see that things have been busy this summer at Portage Middle School. Here are our new bleachers in the Portage gym!

Today was an emotional day at Portage Middle School. We said goodbye to an amazing group of 8th grade students who are ready to go do great things in high school. We celebrated Mrs Osorio as our Teacher of the Year Nominee. We recognized the achievements of our 6th, 7th and 8th grade students who are helping us meet Mission: Possible. We honored the memory of a former Portage student who passed away earlier in this school year by creating the Nivia Romero Leadership Award in her memory. We finished off the day with our 8th Grade Honor Walk. There were lots of laughs, lots of hugs, and lots of tears as we celebrated another great year at Portage Middle School. It’s a great place to be a the best is yet to come! I will post more pics and videos as I get them
