On June 7, 1949, Operation Magic Carpet began. This historic rescue mission brought nearly 50,000 Yemenite Jews to the newly-established State of Israel. Many had never seen an airplane before. Some believed they were flying “on wings of eagles,” as prophesied. Today, continue this work to support vulnerable Jewish communities worldwide. Wherever Jews need us, we answer.

During the Holocaust, Bebe Forehand’s family hid in the attic of a house in Belgium. They remained there for three and a half years, living on meager rations and in constant fear of being found. They survived.

Today is International Holocaust Survivor Day. The generation that survived the Jewish people's darkest chapter is in their final years. Every day, we lose survivors. Every day, their stories risk being forgotten.

Share this to honor survivors in your life. 💙"

Thirty-five years ago, Operation Solomon brought 14,325 Ethiopian Jews to Israel in a mere 36 hours. Today, continue the sacred work of bringing Jews home. Through our partnership with The Jewish Agency for Israel, we're facilitating the Aliyah of members of the Bnei Menashe community from northeast India by 2030.

On Memorial Day, remember the service members who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation's freedom. We honor the Jewish veterans, in particular, and are grateful for their courage and commitment to the values we hold dear. May their memory be a blessing.

"What is a new blessing in your life?" This Shavuot, Rabbi Joshua Stanton explores the meaning of the "harvest" in our modern lives. It’s found in the fruits of our learning, the bridges we build, and the ways we inspire each other. As we receive the Torah anew, we find the "multitudes of good" that strengthen our global Jewish family.
