Exciting news for the Historic Northside District: Panther City BBQ is officially coming to North Main! 🔥

The Michelin-recognized, Texas Monthly Top 50 barbecue restaurant will open its second location in the former La Playa Maya building at 1540 N. Main Street.

This feels especially meaningful. The Ayala family is retaining ownership of a property that has been part of the Northside story for decades while welcoming another local, family-owned and operated Fort Worth business to begin its next chapter there. It’s the kind of reinvestment we love to see: local ownership staying in place, a historic building returning to active use, and a celebrated destination choosing North Main.
