Q1 2022 Veteran Homeless population in Tarrant and Parker counties of Texas: only 30% of the homeless veterans were able to find housing, leaving a huge 70% gap. This shows we have done well in the first quarter of the year to those housed but an epic fail to the rest. More of the senior veterans are facing housing insecurity. Male veterans are outnumbering female veterans by a 4 to 1 ratio. This is unacceptable! We need all hands on deck to fight this pressing homeless issue. Join our cause now!

Here are some housing insecurity numbers in Tarrant County and Parker County of Texas. The total number of people living on the street or in shelters in our community in Q1 of 2022 is 1823. The homeless percentage has increased by 13% in Q1 2022, as compared to previous Q4 2021. The 438 number of people who have left homelessness and found a place to call home during the Jan 1 to Apr 30, 2022 period is good but barely a quarter, 24% to be precise, of the total in Q1 2022 experiencing homelessness. The need is great for more safe and sober houses in our community.
