HOPE Farm, Inc. reminded us why showing up matters. Some of the young men at Hope Farm shared that they’d never met an African American female officer.

The message reached Detective Bradley, she then put the call out and our women answered the call! It’s bigger than us — we reach back so those watching can see what’s possible!

Thank you Deputy Chief Martin, Officer(s) Gentry, Lockridge, Hopkins, Cole and Detective Bradley for showing up with presence, encouragement, and heart.

We would like to give a shoutout to East Division Commander Williams and Officer Baylor for their efforts this past week at the Handle with Care conference in West Virginia!

They had the privilege of presenting “From Mandate to Mindset: Keeping First Responders Engaged with Making Notifications”.

Commander Williams said “It was an honor to represent FWPD, but even more meaningful to help elevate awareness around the lasting impact trauma has on children. Our goal is to encourage officers, educators, and counselors to be intentional in how we respond—because what we do in these moments matters. We have an opportunity to help disrupt cycles of violence that have become normalized in too many young lives.”

👏🏾 Way to go to our very own members and East Division leaders — Commander Williams and Officer Baylor — for their unwavering commitment and hard work to Handle With Care.

Their dedication continues to set the standard for compassion‑centered policing, ensuring our youth and families receive the support, attention, and dignity they deserve.

Their leadership reflects the heart of the East Division, our organization and the community we proudly serve.

Grateful to the Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce for kicking off our meeting with vital information that continues to push our mission forward.

Thank you, Chief Garcia, for being present, listening, and engaging with both our active and retired officers.

Thank you to the community members, and council members who continue to show up, support us, and encourage us— even when they’re not on the agenda to speak.

And a huge thank you to our retirees — the men and women who fought battles many will never fully understand, some still standing strong more than 50 years later. We honor you, we appreciate you, and we continue the work because of the foundation you laid. 🙏🏾

🖤 Community, Connection, and Fellowship 🖤

Members of the Association spent the day enjoying fellowship with families at the annual Egg Drops in both Stop Six and Southwest Fort Worth.

From big smiles to excited little hands catching eggs from the sky, it was a beautiful reminder of why we serve — to show up, build trust, and celebrate moments of joy with our community.

A special thank‑you to Tree of Life Funeral Directors, LLC for hosting and creating space for unity across our city.

Also shoutout to Coach Harris, the new Head Coach at North Crowley High School and Coach Jones for being involved and always showing love!

Together, we rise. 🙏🏾🤝🏾

Back again this weekend with more clean up in the community!

All across Fort Worth today people were making an effort to clean up the city, and making a visible difference in our neighborhoods. The East Division showed strong support, with Commander Antione Williams, Captain Hennard, and several dedicated NPOs present throughout the division.

Their leadership and hands‑on involvement helped make each cleanup effort a success. 🙏🏾
