While May is typically the wettest month of the year in North Texas, this year’s rainfall totals came in below normal. Even so, localized storms helped generate inflows to TRWD lakes, keeping system storage stable at approximately 89%.
As North Texas moves into the summer season, June could still bring opportunities for additional rainfall across the region.
