Look at our Freedom Eagles soaring! 🦅❤️ Let’s hit that 250-member goal! 🎯

HUGE congratulations to Caprock Elementary PTA, Fossil Hill Middle School PTA, Freedom Eagles PTA, Heritage Elementary PTA, and Willis Lane Elementary School PTA!!!! These FIVE PTAs have already exceeded their membership numbers from last year. WAY TO GO! Which five schools are going to be next?!

FRES Families: Due to several short power outages, Freedom Elementary is currently without internet and phone service. Curriculum Night scheduled for this evening has been canceled.

✨Exciting things to come! ✨ We are so grateful for our amazing PTA and all they do to support our school, teachers, and students. We appreciate you more than you know! 💙

🎨 Something NEW is taking shape in our library! 📚🦅

Our new library mural is officially in progress! This special project is a partnership between Freedom Elementary and our PTA, with both helping fund the mural.

And there’s more to come! 💙 PTA will also be funding new library furniture to make the space even more welcoming for our Eagles.

👀 Stay tuned—we can’t wait to share the finished transformation!

Kindergarten Families — Tomorrow is Meet YOUR Teacher! 💙❤️

First, a huge THANK YOU to our Kindergarten families for your patience and flexibility during Kinder Camp last week! 💙 Our newest Eagles had a chance to get comfortable with Freedom, and now the exciting moment is here — it’s time to meet their teachers! 🎉

📅 Monday, August 17
⏰ 8:00–8:10 AM
📍 Freedom Elementary Cafeteria

✨ Here’s what to expect:

🔹 Arrive with your student anytime between 8:00–8:10 AM and enter through the front office. No check-in is required as long as your student is with you.

🎒 Bring your student and their school supplies to the cafeteria and find a table.

🎤 Teachers will call students’ names to the stage. Help your little Eagle listen for their name — then it’s time for the BIG teacher reveal! 🎉

📚 After meeting their teacher, families will follow their student’s class back to the classroom.

📸 You’ll have an opportunity to visit the classroom and take pictures before saying goodbye!

We can’t wait to officially kick off an amazing Kindergarten year! 🦅💙❤️
