Fort Worth Education Association FWEA is the local affiliate of the National Education Association and the Texas State Teachers Assoc. We advocate for public education and our members.

The Fort Worth Education Association is the NEA and the TSTA affiliate for the Fort Worth Independent School District. FWEA is located at 6021 Westcreek Dr in Fort Worth. FWEA's membership includes FWISD employees from teachers to counselors, to bus drivers and cafeteria workers, to secretaries, custodians, teacher assistants and maintenance employees.

THE NOVEMBER ELECTIONS HAVE A PROPOSAL #9 ALREADY-APPROVED BY TEXAS LEGISLATURE AND, NOW, SENDING TO TEXAS VOTERS FOR FINAL APPROVAL.
THIS INCREASES RETIREMENT CHECKS BY 2%, 4%, 6% BASED ON THE YEARS OF RETIREMENT. THE LONGEST RETIRED GET 6% (lowest monthly checks based on their educator pay back then).

Please vote “yes” to this retired educator proposal which comes fully funded from an existing TRS retirement fund made up of active educator payments and state contributions.
