Remember, tonight is "Spring Forward" so set your clocks ahead one hour and check your smoke alarms. In half of reported home fires in which smoke alarms were present but did not operate, the batteries had been removed or the alarm was disconnected due to dead battery alerts or nuisance alarms. Working smoke alarms decrease the risk of dying in reported home fires by nearly half according to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).

Is there anyone on here that has or works for an air conditioning company?
B&B has been good to us and this is an opportunity to enjoy some great BBQ and to give back to their employees.
I want to tell all in Local 440 past and present Happy Christmas...
I found this pic of my mother and a neighbor at Station 26 probably in the 1980’s. This pic also was in the FW Star Telegram. These ladies brought fresh baked goodies often to 26. I remember as a kid when 26 came to our home for a cook out. Engine and all. Us kids thought we had hit the jackpot with Firefighters at our home. My mom has passed but 26 was so good to her as she got older and would fall. They were always there. She lived at Hulen and Trail Lake.
You men and women do an amazing job putting your life on the line for someone you don’t know such brave men and women stay safe 🇱🇷👩‍🚒🇱🇷👩‍🚒🇱🇷
This past Monday, my brother, Joseph Broussard, passed away from Lymphoma. Even though his last name is different he was my brother and this loss has cut me to the core. Between all of my family, we are not going to able to produce the money needed to bury him properly. My sister is trying to raise the money as is a friend of our family. My sister know I have friends on the department and has asked me to seek your help. My sister's name is Aimee Ratliff, like me, she has a page so anyone of you can contact here about wanting to donate. I appreciate you taking the time to read this.
I have been involved in tuition issues surrounding our exemptions since 2004. If any of your FFs are given problems by the colleges, have them contact me. I think I have a firm grasp of the education code.
The MPA program at UT Arlington is now covered under the FF tuition exemption mentioned in TEC 54.353
