This year's Continuing the Climb event connected people with jobs and and services.

Over 580 job seekers came to the Continuing the Climb: Re-Entry Job & Resource Fair, showing how much the community cares about helping people who have been in prison find their way back into the workforce, get legal help, and get the support they need.

Suzanne Richards, who coordinates the City of Fort Worth EnVision Center and Community Action Partners, said that the Continuing the Climb Reentry Job Fair is all about boosting the economic chances of those with tough pasts by bringing together resources, job opportunities, and support in one place.

The City of Fort Worth recognizes the sacrifices made by Texas veterans and their families. To honor their service and ensure they receive the support they deserve, we offer two programs that provides crucial one-time financial assistance for rent, mortgage, and utilities, helping to prevent homelessness and stabilize the lives of our veterans and their families.

These programs are funded by grants from the Texas Veterans Commission. In addition to the programs managed by the City's Neighborhood Services Department Community Action Partners, there are other programs available throughout Tarrant County to support veterans and their families.
