The Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce invites you to our next Lunch and Learn.

Join us Wednesday, September 16, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Devoyd Jennings Business Assistance Center, 1150 South Fwy, Fort Worth, TX 76104.

Lunch is provided and registration is required.

Calling all contractors and construction companies. The City of Fort Worth is hosting its next Contractor Prequalification Workshop on Wednesday, September 9, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

Join online or in person at Fort Worth City Hall.

Prequalification opens the door to bid on major public works categories including water and sewer, concrete and asphalt paving, pedestrian and roadway lighting, and bridge work coming soon. If you are a prime contractor or sub who wants in on these projects, this is the workshop for you.

Please join us in welcoming Shailyn Shirley, our newest Office Administrator, to the Fort Worth Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce team!

We are excited to have Shailyn join our team and bring her experience, organization, and relationship-building skills to the Chamber. In her previous role as Administrative Assistant for the Institute to Advance Child Care, Shailyn played a critical role in supporting daily operations and helping ensure initiatives moved forward effectively.
Shailyn’s ability to bring structure to complex initiatives and build positive relationships will be a valuable addition as she supports our daily operations, staff, members, and community partners.

Our monthly Business Chat is designed to connect prospective vendors with NTTA business unit representatives, procurement staff, certification partners, and advocacy organizations. This event provides valuable insight into doing business with NTTA and offers information on upcoming contracting opportunities.

This special edition will feature a presentation on the upcoming NTTA Western Operations Center Renovation Project. NTTA Maintenance and Facilities staff will provide an overview of the project scope, anticipated timelines etc. Scopes of work extend to multiple CSI divisions, including concrete, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, communications, and more.
