🚨 Where Learning & Practice Come Together! 🚔

Starting in Week 3 of the academy and running through their final evaluations in Week 22, our cadets undergo extensive scenario training designed to bridge classroom instruction with real-world field application.

By putting theoretical knowledge into practice through immersive, reality-based scenarios, cadets learn to make critical split-second decisions, manage stress, and master essential peace officer skills. At the TCC Law Enforcement Academy, we don't just teach the book—we ensure our future officers are field-ready and prepared to serve their communities safely and effectively.

Class 231 put their training into practice during Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (SFST) evaluations! From mastering horizontal gaze nystagmus (HGN) checks to conducting precise walk-and-turn and one-leg stand assessments, these cadets are building the essential skills needed to keep our roads and communities safe.

🌟 End of an Era! 🌟

For the last several years, our academy cadets have performed community service at the TCC Northwest food pantry almost every month. Today marked the very last community food pantry held on campus.

Class 231 had the distinct honor of working this final event, and as you can see, they put in some serious hard work under some very challenging conditions!

A special shout-out to all the incredible volunteers who lent a hand, and a massive thank you to TCC Northwest Dean of Arts and Humanities Lisa Benedetti, who created and championed this food pantry five years ago. Thank you for your leadership and for giving our cadets the opportunity to serve! 👏💼
