Please join us in congratulating Officer Kirk Massey on being recognized as our Police Officer of the Month!

Officer Massey exemplifies dedication, professionalism, and a strong commitment to the community. His service continues to set a high standard across the department, and we are proud to honor his outstanding contributions.

Kirk has served the department for 25 years, beginning his career in Patrol at NPD3 (Deep North), later serving in Central, and eventually moving to the Northwest Division. Between 2012 and 2013, he became a Neighborhood Police Officer (NPO), where he has continued to make a lasting impact ever since.

This year marks his second consecutive nomination for NPO of the Year, earning Second Runner-Up in the 2026 Mayor’s Neighborhood Awards — a testament to his consistent excellence and community engagement.

Beyond his daily duties, Officer Massey is deeply involved in mentoring youth through the Kiki’s Kids Program and remains highly active in the Far Greater Northside neighborhood.
