Fort Worth Housing Solutions provides mixed-income rental and homeownership opportunities that provide the foundation to improve lives. The City of Fort Worth established the agency in 1938 to provide decent, safe housing for low- to moderate-income residents. Today, the FWHS portfolio includes 40 properties with almost 6,700 affordable units. The agency manages Housing Choice Vouchers that help f

amilies and individuals cover rental costs and works closely with numerous partners to promote economic independence and positive change in the lives of the more than 28,000 individuals we serve each day.

Have you driven through Stop Six lately? 🚧🏡

New housing communities are taking shape across the neighborhood, marking continued transformation taking place through the Stop Six Choice Neighborhood Initiative.

A few weeks ago, we celebrated the ceremonial groundbreaking of Hughes House II, the fifth phase of affordable housing in the Initiative. With construction now in full swing, we're looking back at that exciting milestone and the residents, community partners, and local leaders driving this work forward.

Affordable housing is on its way to the Stockyards, y'all!🐎⭐

Oldham Goodwin and Fort Worth Housing Solutions are breaking ground on The Exchange Apartments at the corner of North Main Street and 29th Street. The $71 million, 296-unit mixed-income apartment community will serve as the first vertical development within Oldham Goodwin’s 14.6-acre Stockyards North Master Plan.
