In collaboration with the design firm HED Architects and construction by Rodan Builders, students at Bowditch now have 59,027 square feet of brand-new, daylight-filled buildings. This includes 26 classrooms, 6 state-of-the-art science labs, a black box drama room, a full gymnasium and locker rooms, a new library, a Counseling and Wellness Center, a staff lounge, and vibrant outdoor quads and gathering spaces. With more updates to come, this is truly ground breaking to support future generations of Buccaneers!

For some of our own staff who were Alumni, it was great to be part of a special day to celebrate the students, staff, and community of Bowditch Middle School! Congratulations 🎊🎉

Foster City Elementary School recently held its Founder’s Day ceremony, where John, a dedicated crossing guard, was proudly recognized with a well-deserved Honorary Service Award for his commitment to traffic safety and helping children (and adults) cross the street. 🛑✋🏃🏻‍♂️💨

Here at the FCPD, monitoring traffic during school hours is one of our top priorities. Our officers do more than enforce speed limits. They provide a visible layer of protection that promotes safer driving, helps prevent accidents, and keeps traffic flowing smoothly, making all the difference in keeping children safe.

Someone took “Sunday Funday” way too far 😳

Around 10 a.m. this morning, the driver of this pickup truck inhaled several cans of air duster and nitrous oxide on his way to work and thought the red minivan was a parking spot 🤦‍♂️

Thankfully, no one was injured 😮‍💨

Since the driver refused to drive responsibly, he was chauffeured straight to county jail. There’s absolutely no excuse for impaired driving. The consequences last far longer than any temporary high!

Nightshift patrol observed a juvenile operating an off-highway e-moto without a helmet, license plate, or lights—posing a significant safety hazard to both the rider and the public. When officers conducted a stop, the rider fled. Patrol maintained a safe distance, monitored the situation, and observed the juvenile ultimately come to a stop after entering a dead-end street.

Appropriate enforcement action was taken, the e-moto was impounded, and the juvenile was safely released to a guardian.

We will be running in the Torch Run as a Guardian of the Flame on May 21st 2026. For every $500 we raise, if will fully support one Special Olympian for San Mateo County to represent NORCAL. These funds go directly to help the athlete. So with your donation, we can continue to provide more services for these special Olympians competing this summer!

We are also selling the 26' LETR Shirts for only $20 so come pick one up from the station or speak with one of our officers if you are interested in purchasing one to help raise awareness for the Summer Special Olympics. Thank you 💙
