We had a great meeting yesterday with Sean and Rueben to discuss HB 144, Keith’s Law. This long-overdue bill creates a voluntary statewide database to help first responders quickly identify individuals with disabilities- including developmental, communication, and mental health conditions- during emergencies, enabling faster, better informed, and more tailored care.

You are welcome to come see us, or visit https://rb.gy/m7hnjv for more information.

This past Saturday, Officers from the Fostoria Police Department, teachers from the Fostoria City Schools, along with Trooper Rey Zavala of the Ohio State Patrol, Norwalk Post, had a great time with these amazing kiddos during Christmas with a Cop.

The kids were able to purchase gifts for themselves and their family members, while also receiving new coats, hats, gloves, and boots!

Thank you Fostoria FOP and all of the other local donors... without you, this wouldn't be possible!

A special thanks goes out to NCAT driver, Winston Allen and NCAT Director Mary Habig, for providing the transportation! Also, Jodi and the Tiffin Walmart Team, for the donation and making this great event run seamlessly every year!

🎅 Santa’s Sidekicks look forward to seeing you at this year's Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 6th at 1:30pm (@ Tiffin and Main St.)

The Fostoria Police Department is spreading extra holiday cheer this season through the Toy Express, a partnership with CSX and the First Responders Children’s Foundation Toy Express program.

Thanks to the generosity of these sponsors, Fostoria’s officers will be handing out Christmas gifts to children during and after then annual downtown Christmas parade. This initiative allows our local Police Department to connect with families in a meaningful way—bringing smiles, laughter, and the spirit of giving to our community.

The City of Fostoria extends a heartfelt thank you to CSX and the First Responders Children’s Foundation for supporting this wonderful program and helping make the holidays a little brighter for local kids.
