Our Story
They say that nature soothes the soul. Come and visit our little corner of the world and consider yourself soothed. Come stimulate the senses and breathe in the fresh country air. Sleepy Hollow Campground and Trails LLC are located on acres of some of the most beautiful woodlands and grasslands around. Our miles of connecting trails of varying difficulty wind through the property taking you on a scenic tour of prairie grasslands, gentle rolling hills, marshland, beautiful woods and Eagle Creek. Come for the day and bring a picnic lunch. We have rest areas perfect for picnics. Did someone say wildlife? Our property is home to an abundance of native wildlife. Bring your camera and chances are good that you'll get a picture of some of our residents. Whitetail deer trails crisscross the entire area. Be on the lookout for new fawns in spring and early summer. Flocks of wild turkeys are frequently seen. Songbirds, woodpeckers, hawks, owls, and bald eagles all make their home here. Raccoons, rabbits, squirrels, possums, woodchucks or groundhogs, red and gray foxes all make appearances. You may even catch a glimpse of some of our more elusive residents; beavers, skunks or badgers. Even rarer would be a glimpse of a coyote, sometimes heard yipping at night. Fishermen, get your line wet in Eagle Creek, home for everything from trout to turtles.
