Fountain Hill Police Officer Association Inc.

Fountain Hill Police Officer Association Inc. The FHPOA is the collective bargaining unit of the Officers of the Fountain Hill Police Department. For more info, please contact the association.

The FHPOA is a labor organization, which engages in contract negotiations periodically for the working conditions of the police force. Many people may not be aware, but police officers have limited constitutional rights as compared to normal citizens, because of their employment as police officers. Officers can be disciplined for behavior on or off-duty, are required to maintain a certain level of

fitness, dress and appearance standards, and many other rules, which do not apply to private or other public sector jobs. Additionally, police officers cannot strike unlike other labor organizations. PA Act 111 gives officers the right to collectively bargain with municipalities to ensure they are compensated for the job they do, and these limited constitutional privileges. In addition, the Association will take care of the families in the event an officer makes the ultimate sacrifice or is injured in the line of duty.

Thank you AAK Outdoor Services for providing us with some of the essential equipment needed to keep our officers certified in CPR.
These resources will be put to great use and will help ensure our team is prepared to continue delivering fast, life-saving care to our community when it matters most.
Kyle, owner of AAK Outdoor Services, is also a paramedic and understands how important it is for police to stay up to date and have the proper equipment for training. Thank you, Kyle, for your commitment and support.
Thank you as well to Al for being part of this generous donation

Community partnerships make a difference!

Less than 48 hours ago, we learned that Officer Wood and the Fountain Hill Police Department were looking to secure CPR training mannequins and an AED trainer to help enhance lifesaving training opportunities. After hearing about the need, AAK Outdoor Services was proud to spring into action and donate this valuable resource to support the department’s efforts.

We believe that investing in those who serve and protect our community is one of the best ways to make a positive impact. These training mannequins will help officers maintain and strengthen critical CPR skills that can make all the difference during an emergency.

A special thank you to Officer Wood and the entire Fountain Hill Police Department for their dedication and commitment to keeping our community safe. We’re honored to play a small role in supporting that mission.
