We've had numerous shares, posts, and messages. The City of Fountain Hill does not have a FB page. The Mayor has reached out to myself to help spread the word with that being said I want to share couple things that I'm unsure if everyone knows. The City had applied for a grant to fix our water tower system. They are working to fix that system and have been over last year. For the last year we have been tied into the Hamburg water system. With that being said Hamburg is primary which is understood. Being tied into Hamburg means lower water pressure due to pumping from so far away. The Fountain Hill water dept. Is working with Hamburg, and The state of Arkansas to get everything fixed and working properly.
This is not a jab at anyone but there has been alot of misinformation given out . The Current Mayor of FH does live in FH. The FHFD did not or has not had to go to Hamburg to get water. I know this doesn't fix anything but I believe in helping get information out to community to help understand. Please understand this is a crash course in information. If you would like to get more information please speak to City Hall and get scheduled to be put on the Agenda at the the City Council meeting. Also I can only post and update on what I've been told or personally know.

Just spoke to Our Mayor. She advised that they are turning the water back on. They are asking for everyone to check for broken waterlines along with limiting water consumption. If the water level gets low again they will have to shut the system back off till it refills.

Fountain Hill and surrounding areas. Most of you know the Water pressure is low in our area. It is believed to be caused by everyone taking precautions by dripping or letting water run. Those precautions are definitely understood. I've been asked to ask everyone to limit the amount of water used so the tanks and lines can catchup. Stay safe, stay warm , and please dont get out unless you have to.
