Unleash your creative freedom this summer in the upcoming Mixed Media workshop with experienced instructor Carrie Goodwin.

From acrylics and inks to collage and stitching, you will learn to layer diverse materials and build unique visual stories in a fun, relaxed setting. There is no experience required for this highly intuitive class. Sessions run on Wednesdays from June 17th through July 22nd, with no class on July 1st, from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Ready to level up your pickleball game? Whether you are picking up a paddle for the very first time or looking to dominate the kitchen line, we have a spot for you.

Instructor Richard Nguyen is hosting two upcoming pickleball clinics designed to elevate your skills and strategy under expert guidance. The beginner class is perfect for those who want to learn the fundamentals, rules, and basic techniques. The intermediate class is tailored for players ready to sharpen their skills, master advanced strategy, and truly ace their game.

Classes will be held at the Four Peaks Park Pickleball Courts on Tuesdays, running from June 23rd through July 28th. Registration for the full session is $195.

Meeting on the first Thursday of each month from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, this group is dedicated to sharing ideas, educating, and inspiring people of all ages to preserve the craft of sewing and quilting. Whether you want to develop new techniques or improve your current skills, this program offers a space to connect and learn.

Demystifying Social Security starts with getting the facts straight. The Fountain Hills Community Center will host Social Security: An In-Depth Review with Steve Thomas, a Registered Social Security Analyst, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM on June 20th. Designed for anyone age 18 or older, this session covers the history of the program, where contributions go, the funding outlook, and considerations for when to claim. The presentation includes information for individuals who have not started benefits yet, singles, married couples, widows, widowers, and divorced persons.

Find your balance at the Sound Experience Meditation session. This program blends modern science with ancient wisdom to harmonize your physical and emotional well-being. Using ambient tones and vibrational frequencies, the practice fine-tunes your body to release tension and activate its natural healing abilities.

The next session take place on Fridays from June 5th - 19th between 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM at the Fountain Hills Community Center. The class is $40 for the session.
