💧Kalaeloa Desalco, a subsidiary of PERC Water and our parent company Consolidated Water Co. Ltd., recently achieved a major milestone for its $204 million project to design, construct, operate and maintain a 1.7 million gallon per day seawater desalination plant in Hawaii.

➡️ (BWS) approved the pilot test report submitted by Kalaeloa Desalco (KD), which detailed findings and recommendations from the Project’s Pilot Testing Study completed by KD in January 2024.

✅With this approval, BWS concluded desalinated water produced by KD during the Pilot Test Study was a reasonable match to their existing water supply. They also concluded desalinated water from the new KSDF would not cause any detrimental impact to existing distribution pipes or customer assets.

Join us in celebrating Joe Winkler’s promotion to Director of Design-Build!

Joe joined PERC Water in 2021 as a Project Manager and has since been instrumental in managing a number of assignments across our design-build and operations and maintenance divisions.

In his role with PERC, Joe has concurrently managed capital improvement and expansion projects at operating wastewater treatment plants in California, as well as the design and construction of the Sarival Water Reclamation Facility in Goodyear, Ariz. During this time, Joe continued to support design-build business development efforts throughout the United States.

Currently, Joe is assigned to the Kalaeloa Seawater Desalination Facility Project in Kapolei, HI and has managed site, equipment and staff mobilization on the island, alongside overseeing Pilot Testing Study activities while the project moves through design and permitting.

Joe’s personal success over the last four years is best reflected in the success of PERC during the same time. We look forward to continued momentum as he moves into his new role - Congratulations, Joe!
