On Tuesday afternoon, Assistance League of Huntington Beach proudly celebrated 47 Fountain Valley School District staff members, awarding more than $30,000 in grants to support innovative classroom projects and student learning opportunities.

From hands-on science experiments, and STEM equipment, to classroom libraries, early literacy resources, mathematics materials, and social-emotional learning tools, these grants will help educators bring creative ideas to life across FVSD schools.

Some of the exciting projects include:
🔬 Shark dissections and hands-on science investigations

📖 Decodable readers, classroom libraries, and literacy activities

🧮 Interactive mathematics resources and early childhood learning materials

🎭 Dramatic play, theater arts, and creative learning experiences

💻 Computer science enhancements and STEM equipment

These grants represent more than classroom supplies. They represent opportunities for students to explore, discover, create, and grow.

From keeping our campuses clean, safe, and welcoming to setting up for events, lending a hand with traffic during arrival and dismissal, responding to the unexpected, and tackling the countless things that simply need to get done, our custodians are an essential part of every school community.

September 13–18, 2026, marks National Arts in Education Week! We are incredibly proud to celebrate the vital role visual and performing arts play in shaping well-rounded, creative students across the Fountain Valley School District. We are thrilled to share that FVSD has been selected for OCDE’s inaugural Innovation Funding Initiative cohort. This $525,000 grant over 3 years supports our Math Learning Lab Model, developed by our Ed Services Team and Math TOSAs to transform how we approach Tier 1 math instruction.

Through structured classroom lab cycles, where teachers learn alongside one another in live classrooms, analyze real student work, and ensure equitable, high-quality learning for every student.

Are you an organized multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Fountain Valley School District is hiring a full-time, 12-month Transportation Dispatcher to keep our buses rolling and our TK–8th grade students moving safely every day!
In this vital role, you’ll assist with routing daily schedules, coordinating field trips and athletic events, resolving road issues, and serving as a key operational leader.
Position Highlights:
Competitive Pay: $5,174 – $6,291 / month (Hiring available up to Step 3 per CSEA contract)
Schedule: Full-time, 12-month position
Key Qualifications Needed:
Resume
Valid CA Class B Driver’s License (with Passenger & S Endorsements)
Valid CA School Bus Driver’s Certificate (Restriction 1 only)
