This is a reminder that nominations for the 2024 Clarke Prize are due on May 7, 2024, by 5 PM Pacific Time. National Water Research Institute (NWRI) administers the $50,000 prize, which is offered by the Joan Irvine Smith and Athalie Richardson Irvine Clarke Foundation.

The Clarke Prize is awarded annually to thought leaders in water research, science, technology, or policy. Nominees must work in the United States or have a significant body of work within the United States.

Nominations are being accepted for the 2024 Clarke Prize, which is awarded for outstanding achievement in water science and technology. NWRI is pleased to announce that Dr. Charles T. Driscoll will receive the 2023 Clarke Prize, which recognizes outstanding achievement in water science and technology. Driscoll is the University and Distinguished Professor of Environmental Systems Engineering in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at Syracuse University’s College of Engineering and Computer Science.
