UPDATE: Due to weather delays on a separate project in the Castle Rock area, the start date for the Southmoor project has been pushed back to June 1. It should take about two weeks to mill down the road and then repave it.

ORIGINAL: The repaving of Southmoor Drive will begin on Tuesday May 26. One lane of traffic will remain open between the American Legion and Paladin Place (behind Walmart), but drivers should travel slowly to avoid work crews and construction debris.

🍽️ Join us for lunch at the Silver Key Senior Services Connections Café at the Fountain Valley Senior Center this week, May 25–29!

Lunch is served daily from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal, friendly conversation, and great community connections.

📞 Reservations are required the day before.
💲A suggested donation of $3.50 is requested.

Join us for the Fountain Valley Senior Center Annual Picnic on Wednesday, June 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at beautiful Fountain Creek Regional Park! 🌳🧺☀️

Enjoy great food, laughter, friendship, and community as we celebrate together with a delicious pot luck picnic. Members are encouraged to sign up at the Coffee Corner with the dish they plan to bring. Transportation to the park is available for those needing a ride, but registration for both the picnic and transportation closes June 5.

Please note the Senior Center will be closed for regular activities on June 10 while we enjoy this special event together.

We can’t wait to spend the day with all of you!

Looking for a fun and creative way to spend your Thursday mornings? Join our Wood Carving Group every Thursday at 8:00 a.m.! Whether you’re an experienced carver or have never picked up a carving tool before, beginners are always welcome.

Come enjoy great conversation, learn new skills, share ideas, and create something unique in a friendly and supportive environment. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends while exploring a rewarding hobby.
