I want to say thank you to everyone that came out to the library today. There were so many people! And I never considered that anyone would bring gifts! My people are the best! Did I mention homemade strawberry ice cream? Cake, fruit, a blueberry cobbler, cucumber sandwiches, and more! We sure did eat well. I'll see you all when I drop in for a visit!

The library will be closed next week for the 4th of July holiday. We hope to reopen on July 8th. I hope you have a safe and happy 4th!

I've been your librarian for the last 15 years. I sadly announce to you today that this is my last week serving the amazing people of Four Oaks. It's time for me to retire! I want to thank you all for being my friends and family. I love Four Oaks and it will always be home. Four Oaks will always have a piece of my heart!

We will be hosting a retirement party Saturday June 29th 1-5pm at the library. I know it's the start of the holiday week and many of you won't be able to come by. Please know that I appreciate all of you. I have loved being your librarian.

Don't forget to join us for the Summer Reading Program in the morning at 10:30am. We're going to create our name in hieroglyphics on name plates.

The 301 yard sale is this weekend. The library will be open early on Saturday with stacks of books available for cheap!! (Think like, just make a donation to the library, name your price!)

It's that time of year. Mama is very protective this year. She's letting everyone know NOT to mess with her babies. She flies around the porch showing her ire. Please don't mess with her babies! They'll learn to fly soon and will leave the nest and she will calm down. Thank you for understanding!
