At 0948 this morning, BCEMS was dispatched by the Benton County 911 Center to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of SR 18 and County Road 1200 E.

Benton County EMS Medic 1, 2, EMS 3, Otterbein Area Fire Department, Otterbein Police Department, Fowler Police Department, and the Benton County Sheriff’s office responded. Due to the location and number of patients reported, assistance was requested from Brookeston Fire Department, Monticello Fire Department, and Jasper County EMS. Support was provided by Benton County EMA, Farneys Wrecker Service, and the Benton County Coroners office, and the Indiana State Police.

We want to thank our partner agencies for their assistance and a well-coordinated incident. Our communities are fortunate to have their service.

Our prayers are with those individuals involved and their families affected by this incident.
