💙 SEPTEMBER IS SU***DE PREVENTION MONTH 💙

You never know what someone may be going through behind a closed door.

As firefighters and first responders, we see people on some of the most difficult days of their lives. But you don’t have to be a first responder to make a difference.

Sometimes, simply asking “Are you okay?” can start an important conversation.

🔥 Check on your friends.
🔥 Listen without judgment.
🔥 Take changes in behavior seriously.
🔥 Let someone know they are not alone.
🔥 Encourage them to reach out for professional help when needed.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 to reach the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline. Help is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

If someone is in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

There is hope. There is help. And one conversation can make a difference.
