Congratulations Deputy. We wish you all the best in retirement!

Deputy Laracy started his career with the Foxborough Fire Department as a call firefighter in 1995 before being hired full time in 1997. Throughout his years with the department, he has been involved in numerous department programs and initiatives, including public education, fire investigator, and fire prevention.
Dave was promoted to Lieutenant in 2015, Captain in 2016 and Deputy Chief in 2019. His expertise and dedication in his role as Fire Prevention Deputy has made a major impact on the safety and well-being of the Town of Foxborough. He was able to successfully work with the owners of all of the 6 or more unit apartment buildings in town and have over 80 Fire Alarm systems installed covering 684 apartments. This was a monumental achievement as these buildings were in violation of the code for 35 years. Dave built a reputation as a respected and trusted leader in the Fire Prevention and inspection world. As a Deputy Chief he revitalized the Fire Prevention office in Foxborough and truly left it better than he found it. Congratulations on a great 30 year career.
