📣 Get involved in Foxborough's community!

The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) is looking for a new Associate Member.

The ZBA plays an important role in local decisions involving zoning, signs, special permits, variances, appeals, and certain housing proposals. Associate members take part in public hearings and may serve as a voting member when a regular Board member is unavailable or unable to participate.

This is a great opportunity for a Foxborough resident interested in local government, land use, development, or community service to get involved and learn more about how these decisions are made!

Meetings are generally held on the third Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at Town Hall, with a Zoom option available.

Associate members are appointed by the Select Board and serve a one-year term.

Interested in serving? Learn more and download an application on the Town website: https://tinyurl.com/BoardCommittee-Application

🦊 Scout Out Scout
Week 7 (July 3 – July 9) | Scout is on Vacation!

Scout is celebrating America’s 250th at one of his favorite MA beaches, so he will not be in Foxborough this week!

Planning your own beach day? Before you pack the towels, chairs, and sunscreen, check the state’s water quality dashboard to make sure your favorite swimming spot is safe. Public freshwater and saltwater beaches in Massachusetts are tested during the summer for bacteria that can make people sick. If levels are too high, the beach may close until it is safe to swim again.

Even while Scout is out of town, you can still visit his page on the town website to learn more about beach water testing, find state-run pools and beaches, and review sun safety tips: https://tinyurl.com/ScoutOutScout
