If your delinquent account balance is over $300.00 you will receive a letter. There is still time to bring your account up to date to avoid further action.

HELP WANTED
The Frackville Area Municipal Authority (FAMA) is seeking a part-time Office Assistant who is comfortable interacting with people in an office setting. This position is day-shift 12:00-5:00PM (some 8:00AM - 5:00PM may be required). The ideal candidate is efficient, detail-oriented, able to handle confidential information and possesses both excellent written and verbal communication skills, in addition to strong mathematical skills. Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Payroll and general accounting procedures is very important. Must possess a high school diploma or GED and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check. Salary based on experience.

As of March 1, 2024, the Frackville Area Municipal Authority (FAMA) will be sending letters notifying delinquent customers of their balances. The Frackville Area Municipal Authority (FAMA) is currently accepting applications for a Belt Filter Press Technician/General Maintenance Worker. This full-time position is day shift, and requires a rotating on-call schedule with some weekends. Knowledge of wastewater treatment and equipment preferred, but will train the right person. Strong mathematical skills, basic plumbing and electrical skills are also a plus. Must possess a high school diploma or GED and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check. Good Morning FAMA customers. Most of you have received your 1st qtr billing cards by now. If you paid you bill for the year in 2020, you will have a credit on your account. Most residential customers who had paid last year will have a $45 credit. If you intend to pay for the year 2021 the correct amount is $339.75 (ONLY if you have a $45 credit). Many of you have called our Office (570-874-3589) for the current payment amount and we greatly appreciate your calls.

If you have ANY questions regarding what is due, PLEASE call our Office for the correct amount. We have received several incorrect payments. IF you have already made your payment in any amount other than $339.75, PLEASE contact us IMMEDIATELY.

The current residential rate is $90 for this current (FIRST) quarter, additional quarters are to be billed at $112.50.

Multi unit properties, Commercial, Business and Industrial rates will vary. So, again, please call for the correct amount.

Good Morning FAMA friends! It's that ime of year when our first quarter bills are being delivered. If you have a question regarding your account, please contact our Office at 570-874-3589.

For those customers paying for the year, who also paid last year, you may have a credit on your account, so it is best to call ahead for the correct total. We are continuing to offer a 10% discount for those paying for the year thoughout the months of January and February.

FAMA is once again charging the reduced rate for the first quarter to provide our customer a little relief during the pandemic.

When using cash to pay your balance, we would greatly appreciate if you can have the EXACT change. Place your payment in an envelope with the LARGER STUB. The smaller stub is YOUR RECEIPT. If you pay with a check or money order, please remember to write your account number on your check or money order. It is suggested that credit and debit card payments be made online at fama874.com.

Payments can be mailed, deposited in the locked drop box outside the building or placed in the mail slot in the Office door. Anyone requiring a stamped receipt must accompany their payment with a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

The FAMA Office Staff would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas season and a very Happy and Healthy New Year. We are all hoping that at some point in 2021 we can return to business as usual. This past year has been very difficult on everyone and we miss the daily interaction we have with our customers.

At this time, FAMA would like to notify our customers that we are extending our reduced rate into the new year, due to the continuing Covid crisis. The first quarter billing rate for residential customers will continue to be $90, as it has been since July 2020. Commercial/Business customers will also continue to receive a reduced rate.

For those of you who had paid for the year in January 2020, you will have a credit on your account going into the new year. We encourage you to call our Office for the correct amount due after you receive your first quarter billing in January 2021. The discount rate will be determined at our December meeting to be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020.

It is very important when you are making a payment to include your account number on your check or money order AND return the larger stub (the small stub is your RECEIPT). Check, Money Order or Cash payments can be deposited in the mail slot in our Office door. When making an online payment, please make sure you enter the correct account number so your payment isn't applied to the wrong account. If you need a stamped receipt, please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope with your payment.

Again, we look forward to seeing our customers again in the new year. Masks are required when visiting the building. Please take this time to stay safe and healthy. We look forward to the day we can once again greet our customers in person.
