June 24, 2026 is the 4th anniversary of the Last Call for the Framingham Auxiliary Police. A thriving organization that contributed to the safety of Framingham for 80 years, until the legislature and the Municipal Police Training Committee decided that volunteers were no longer a desire of the Commonwealth.

Essex County Chiefs are speaking up about their loss of their reserve trained (Auxiliary volunteers and Reserve paid) officers.

The commonwealth lost over 2,000 Officers including your former Framingham Auxiliary Police.

As time goes by, these legislative changes are showing as a detriment to public safety. @ Karen Spilka please take notice of this announcement from Essex County Police Chiefs.

On Monday, April 20, 2026 the 130th running of the Boston Marathon will take place. During this event, Route 135, Waverly Street in Framingham will be closed from 7:45 A.M. to approximately 2:30 P.M. Please plan your travel accordingly. In preparation for this event, parking on Route 135 and adjacent streets will be prohibited from midnight, 12 A.M., on Monday, April 20th until 2:30 P.M. Vehicles parked in the no parking zones will be ticketed and towed. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Come fill the cruiser, enjoy the tree lighting and say hello to your CSV’s who will be volunteering at the City’s tree lighting.

**UPDATE: Due to the extremely cold weather tomorrow night this event is canceled. We will have a donation box in our front lobby until Friday, December 12th if you would like to donate a new, unwrapped gift. Thank you!

It's that time of year again to help us Fill the Cruiser!🚓🎁 FPD will have a cruiser outside of the station this Friday, December 5th at 5:00pm. Please bring a new unwrapped toy to donate. All donations will go to local programs in need. Thank you in advance for your support!
