This morning, Local 1652 Framingham Firefighters, started the first round of school fire drills for this school year. Per state law, firefighters must conduct a fire drill at each and every school within the city of Framingham within the first 72 hours of the first day of the kids being back in school.

We encourage every Framingham resident to take a look. You don't need to be a firefighter. You don't need to understand GIS. You don't need to understand fireground operations. Look at the maps. Look at the numbers. Look at where Framingham is today. Then look at what the analysis shows could be accomplished by improving our staffing and deployment.

The numbers speak for themselves.

Framingham is growing. The demands on our Fire Department are growing and we believe our fire protection system needs to grow with it. We don't need to find someone to blame. We need to find a way forward.

THE RED & BLUE OPEN — FINAL SCORE

Local 1652 Framingham Firefighters came out on top in the 2nd Annual Police vs. Fire Golf Tournament, defeating the Framingham Police Department 11.5 – 6.5!

Local 1652 Framingham Firefighters would like to thank all the families and friends, staff at Pilgram Day Camp and the retirees that were honored for making it out and spending the day with us. Most importantly we'd like to thank the Local 1652 events committee and the volunteers for pulling off another successful Summer Outting/ Retirement party!
