A big thank you to AmeriCorps VISTA Summer Associate Caytlin Silva for being part of the Frankford Public Library team this summer!

Throughout her time with us, Caytlin provided Digital Literacy assistance to our patrons, helping with technology questions, devices, online resources, and everyday digital needs. She was also a wonderful addition to our daily library activities and was always ready to assist patrons when needed.

Caytlin joined us through the AmeriCorps VISTA Digital Literacy Summer Associate program, which places associates in Delaware Libraries to help provide technology support and build digital skills within our communities.

We are so grateful for everything Caytlin has done for our patrons and staff over the summer. Thank you, Caytlin, and thank you to AmeriCorps VISTA for helping make this valuable service possible!

Ready to feel more confident with computers and technology?

Join us at the Frankford Public Library for our free, beginner-friendly Computer & Technology Classes! Whether you’re new to computers, haven’t used them in a while, or just need a refresher, these classes are a great way to build your skills.

Upcoming classes will cover Computer Basics, Internet Basics, Email Basics, and Cybersecurity, with helpful guidance from a specialist along the way.

Roll the dice and start your next adventure!

A new Dungeons & Dragons group is coming to the Frankford Public Library for teens ages 12–19! Whether you've never played before, are still learning, or already know your way around a campaign, you're welcome at the table.

Our experienced Dungeon Master will help players learn the game while using teamwork, creativity, and role-play to take on new adventures together. The group will meet once a month, so there's always another quest around the corner!

We join readers and fans around the world in remembering Dolly Parton and extending our condolences to her family and loved ones.

Beyond her incredible career, Dolly leaves a lasting legacy in literacy through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which has provided millions of free books to young children around the world.

Families can help continue Dolly’s love of reading by signing eligible children up for the Imagination Library to receive free books and begin building a love of reading from an early age.

Happy National Dog Day from a couple of very well-read pups!

Deb Kleiner, our Adult Coordinator, has some serious book lovers at home. Lola has her reading glasses on and is settling in with a James Patterson novel, while Bella is enjoying her favorite library dog book!

Ready to build, paint, and create?

Children ages 6–12 can build their own castle, barn, or racecar using Lowe's Build and Grow wooden kits! All tools and materials are provided, and parents are asked to stay and help their young builders along the way.

Registration is required so we can make sure there are enough kits for everyone.

For the next two weeks, children and families are welcome to pick up a free snack bag to take home and enjoy, generously provided by Community Lutheran Church.
