Check out the accomplishments of our program Ascension Academy, which is a component of the larger Shelby Academy, as they received the PEAK (Public Education Achieves in Kentucky) Award by our partners KSBA earlier this year. The award is the association's highest district honor designed to highlight outstanding Kentucky public school efforts in order to promote the positive impact of public education across the state.

Join SESC's Tori Anders-St. Thomas for an engaging 6-hour leadership workshop, Collaborative Communities that Impact Learning: Navigating PLCs that Work, designed for principals and school leaders ready to strengthen PLC practices and collaborative team impact. Choose the session that works best for you—June 3 or June 12, 2026—at the SESC London Office. Each participant will receive a Solution Tree resource to support continued learning and implementation.

Our trailer is here! Thank you to KECSAC for the targeted funds grant which allowed us to purchase our “Mobile Construction Unit”.

With this equipment, we plan to build community outreach items such as chicken coops, flower boxes, and dog houses.

Our students are excited to use the tools, and we are excited for them! Thank you to our Maintenance Crew for delivering our new wheels.

Congratulations Mr. Bell!

Mr. Jovan Bell recently represented Future Forward Education and Career Center while attending the 44th Annual Midwest Symposium on Leadership in Behavior Disorders in Kansas City, MO.

The symposium brings together educators, researchers, and leaders from across the country to share experiences, insights, and practical strategies that help us better enable our students to .

Opportunities like this allow educators to bring new ideas and proven practices for both academics and behavior back to their classrooms. Mr. Bell will be able to apply all of his new learning and share these strategies with his colleagues at FFECC.

Special thanks to KECSAC for providing a stipend that helped make Mr. Bell’s attendance possible and for their continued support of professional learning opportunities for educators.
