NOTICE: BOIL WATER ADVISORY

There is a Boil Water Advisory for Ridgewood Subdivision due to a large leak and water had to be shut off in order to fix the leak.

Once water is restored you will have to boil water that is used for drinking or cooking for 3 full minutes.

Customers will be contacted when the boil water advisory is lifted, and our website and page will be updated

The Peaks Mill Water District Board Meeting scheduled to be held on February 10, 2025, at 5:30 pm has been cancelled. Our next board meeting will be March 10, 2025, at 5:30 pm.

The Peaks Mill Water District January bills were brought to the Frankfort Post Office on Thursday 1/23/2025 around 1:30 PM. We are aware that many of our customers have not received their bills. You can contact our office 502-227-5740 Monday thru Friday 8:30 to 3:30 for your account balance. We do have ACH as an option to pay that is free of charge. Please contact us if you would like to have this method of payment.

We will be closed 11/11/24 for the Veterans Day Holiday. The boil water advisory is still in effect for those customers that have been under a boil water advisory since 11/06/2024. Once the boil water advisory has been lifted we will do another "One Call" plus update our page, website and office answering machine. We do appreciate your patience during the service line repair.

We are working on the service lines again today. Customers in Stonewall subdivision and a small section of Owenton Rd were the only ones that were supposed to be affected and not have any water from 8-4 yesterday and today (11/07/24). Unfortunately, a large section of the water district that includes Bethel Lane, Miller Lane, parts of Shadrick Ferry, and Aldridge Court, Hilltop Drive and a larger area of Owenton Road have been affected. Unfortunately, all customers that were without water yesterday or had very low water pressure will be affected today. We apologize and thought we had a work around after yesterday’s outage unfortunately the work around did not work You will be without water from 8:00 – 4:00. Once water is restored any water used for drinking or cooking will need to be boiled for 3 full minutes. We will do another One Call once the boil water advisory has been lifted.

11/06/24 @ 2:30. For all of our customers that lost water or experienced low water pressure, the service line we were working on today has been repaired. If you lost water today, once water is restored you will need to boil any water used for drinking or cooking for 3 full minutes. Please note all customers in the Stonewall subdivision and from 6950 Owenton Rd to 7694 Owenton Rd, will be without water tomorrow 11/07/24 from 8-4 pm as scheduled.

We are currently working on service lines – customers in Stonewall subdivision and a small section of Owenton Rd were the only ones that were supposed to be affected and not have any water from 8-4 today and possibly tomorrow. We are currently trying to figure out why a larger section is without water. We will post more information as soon as we get it.

NOTICE: BOIL WATER ADVISORY FOR NOV 6 and NOV 7 2024

This is a Boil Water Advisory for Stonewall Subdivision and from 6950 Owenton Rd up to 7694 Owenton Rd.

On November 6 and November 7 Peaks Mill Water District will be repairing service lines in your area. You will not have any water from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm both days. Once water is restored for the day you will have to boil water that is used for drinking or cooking for 3 full minutes.
Once the boil water advisory has been lifted we will contact you.

Due to a water line break at 2:30 all customers on McDonald Ferry are under a boil water advisory. This also included customers from 13450 Swallowfield up to 13898 Swallowfield Rd. Customer will be without water from 4-6 hours.

Once water is restored you will have to:
BOIL YOUR WATER FOR 3 FULL MINUTES BEFORE DRINKING OR USING TO COOK.
