🚨🚨🚨Press release🚨🚨🚨
On April 19th, 2026 Town of Frankfort Police were dispatched to the area of State Route 171 and Brice Rd for report of a physical domestic taking place between a male and a female. It is alleged that the male suspect had held the female victim inside their residence against her will. The victim was unable to call for help, due to the male suspect stealing her cell phone. The female was eventually able to exit the residence and ran down the road yelling for help, while the male suspect chased her. An off-duty Town of Frankfort police officer happened to be in the area and assisted the female and was able to separate the male from the female until on duty officers were able to arrive and take control of the situation. The male suspect, who was learned to be 25 year old Aquan L. Moultrie of Frankfort, was taken into custody by on duty officers. Moultrie was charged with Assault in the 3rd degree (A Misd), Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree (A Misd) Criminal Obstruction of Breathing (A Misd) Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd degree (A Misd) Grand Larceny 4th degree (E Felony) and Aggravated Family Offense (E Felony). Although there is probable cause to make the arrest of the above stated individual, he is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
