Frankfort Transit will have service on Tuesday, April 8

Buses will run to all locations except the following:

Wilkinson Blvd
Leestown Ln
Oaklawn Dr
Riley Rd
Cody Pass
Compton Dr
Post office
Murray St
East 2nd St

Demand response will be available to all locations that are accessible.

Trolley route will be out of service until next week, April 15.

Transit crews will be checking road conditions regularly and will update you when locations can be serviced again.

PUBLIC NOTICE: BGCAP TRANSIT/ FRANKFORT TRANSIT PUBLIC MEETING

Bluegrass Community Action Partnership, Inc. dba BGCAP Transit and City of Frankfort- Frankfort Transit will hold a coordination meeting to determine the extent to which our agencies can coordinate services with other providers and agencies, which is required by FTA guidelines. The meeting will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 3:00 PM.

We are excited to announce that beginning Monday, October 14, we are officially opening the Transit Center to the public!

The Transit Center is located at 510 Clinton St. across the street from the current bus shelters. Passengers will no longer use the Clinton St bus shelters.

Join us tomorrow, Thursday, for the official grand opening of the newly completed Frankfort Public Transit Transit Center! Drop in from 4-7PM for a tour of the new facility, freebies, refreshments, and music. You can also check out the newly installed Xavier Cortada mural in partnership with Josephine Sculpture Park.

At 5:15 PM in the tunnel, the City will officially cut the ribbon on the transit center with our elected officials and other project staff.

This event is free and open to the public!
