To all my fellow nerd members, i am sad to say that i will not be returning back to Kentucky State University. I love and will miss you all. It has been a funfilling experience to meet all of you. i will be tending purdue university calumet. i wish you all the best and continue to do good on campus. sincerely Donald White Jr

N.E.R.D. is Doing Service in Haiti Led by Kentucky State University Student!

Stephanie Similus, a KSU student, who is the International Representative for the N.E.R.D. Collegiate KSU Chapter is leading the N.E.R.D. Collegiate LLC’s “Liancourt Healthy Youth Project”. The project will take place in Liancourt, Haiti. The project is focused on young people in Haiti being made aware of HIV, STDs, and STIs. The N.E.R.D. Collegiate organization has collected condoms to be given away and money for HIV, STDs, and STIs test kits that will be administered. Stephanie has translated HIV, STD, and STI information from English to creole. She plans to do seminars, administer the tests and distribute the literature. She is leaving Monday June 17, 2013. Our prayers of safe travel and a great project are with her. Represent N.E.R.D. and KSU proud Stephanie. Again, the actually project will be taking place in July.
