Earlier today, KSBA’s Policy team distributed this year’s round of recommended policy and procedural updates, representing nearly 10,000 individual policy document changes. Kentucky’s 171 locally elected school boards will utilize these recommendations as they work towards annual policy approval in the months ahead.

⚖KSBA’s 2026 Federal and State Law Update will be held virtually from 9 a.m. until noon (ET) on Tuesday, June 16. Online registration is now open: ksba.org/LawUpdate.aspx.

The popular webinar provides a legislative session recap, a summary of board policy and procedure updates, federal policy developments, recent Open Meetings Act/Open Records Act decisions and other pertinent case law developments.

This training is open to anyone, but is highly recommended for school board members, superintendents, administrators, board attorneys, finance officers and other district personnel with policy-enacting responsibilities.
