Today, we celebrate the retirement of CW5 Kevin Wayne Keith after more than 32 years of exceptional service to Army Aviation and the Kentucky Army National Guard.

From 14 October 1993 through 31 May 2026, CW5 Keith exemplified leadership, professionalism, and unwavering dedication as a dual-rated rotary and fixed-wing master aviator with the 63rd Theater Aviation Brigade.

Whether in the cockpit of a helicopter or airplane, he set the standard for technical and tactical excellence. His expertise shaped countless flight operations, mentored generations of Soldiers and aviators, and strengthened the force through his commitment to mission success and the safety of every crew he led.

An aviator’s legacy is not measured only in flight hours, but in the lives impacted, the Soldiers developed, and the standards carried forward long after the mission ends.

Thank you, CW5 Keith, for your distinguished service, your leadership, and your lasting impact on Army Aviation. Wishing you fair winds and clear skies in retirement!
