Kentucky Certified  Batterer Intervention Providers Batterer Intervention Providers work with domestic violence perpetrators to hold them accountable for the violence and to assist them making changes.

Kentucky Certified Batterer Intervention Providers are mental health professionals with advanced training and certification in the area of working with domestic violence perpetrators. Batterer Intervention Programs (BIP) can be found all over the Commonwealth. The primary goal of BIP is to increase safety for victims of domestic violence by holding the perpetrator accountable for the violence and to assist the perpetrator in creating change.
