The Singing Bridge Inn (formerly Old YMCA building)

The Singing Bridge Inn (formerly Old YMCA building) Renovation of the Old YMCA building in Frankfort, KY into an upscal boutique hotel, to be known as The Singing Bridge Inn.

The Old YMCA in Frankfort, KY is a three story, 16,000 square foot Beaux-Arts building designed by noted Frankfort architect, Leo Oberwarth. Although currently vacant, the Old YMCA Building is ideally suited for use as a boutique hotel (herein referred to as the Singing Bridge Inn), which would be the only hotel on the Kentucky River and which would provide the capital city of Frankfort with its o

nly up-scale hotel experience. The Singing Bridge Inn could offer 30 – 50 guest rooms, as well as larger third floor suites. It would also feature dining, reception and banquet facilities. French doors open onto a stone balcony overlooking the picturesque Kentucky River, and a rooftop garden area offers spectacular views of historic downtown Frankfort. It would help support our state Capital; lobbyists, advocacy groups, conferences, tourism and the convention industry.
